100% No Cash Festival

In 2023, Caribana became No Cash. It is not possible to pay with cash inside the festival. We accept credit cards and Twint.

Festival map

With each new edition, the Caribana Festival team works to improve the transport services offered to the festival-goers. This year we are pleased to renew the free bus service on line 811, from and to Gland, in collaboration with the Transports publics de la région nyonnaise (TPN) and with the support of the City of Gland. In addition to the usual service of line 811, Nyonnais public transport provides additional shuttles from Nyon, Gland and Coppet.

  • Line 811, which leaves from the station
  • The special Caribana shuttle leaves in front of the La Combe shopping centre (unlike the normal line 811).
  • All buses are free during the festival for badge and season ticket holders.
  • The bus stop at the festival is located 100m from the entrance.

Public car park P1 is subject to a charge (CHF 5.-)

Payment by credit card or Twint only – no cash.

Parking outside the indicated car parks is prohibited. Any vehicle parked outside the car parks may be impounded at the owner’s expense.

The security service is made up of around sixty volunteers who are permanently present on the festival site. They are available to the public for any information, advice and, of course, for everyone’s safety.

In order to maintain a festive atmosphere at the Caribana Festival, it is strictly forbidden to enter the grounds with drinks, drugs or other prohibited substances, weapons (firearms, knives, etc.) or any other object considered as such, cameras and audio or video recorders. The festival reserves the right to ban other objects or substances.

For everyone’s safety, bags will be systematically checked and randomly searched at the entrance to the festival.

Throughout the festival, an infirmary staffed by health professionals (doctors, nurses and paramedics) will be on hand in case of need. Several health patrols, easily recognisable by their yellow waistcoats, will be permanently on the ground.

Hearing protection

Noise levels can reach 100 decibels during concerts. Protect your ears, and especially those of your children, with ear plugs available at the festival ticket booths and at the following locations on the grounds:

Stand Information
A team will take to the field
For optimum protection for your children’s ears, we advise you to fit them with hearing protection adapted to their age and body shape. Even short-term exposure can cause irreversible damage to your children’s hearing.

Preventing alcohol abuse

Raising awareness of the risks associated with alcohol abuse is one of Caribana’s key concerns, with a focus on training staff in bars and in the field.

Emergency evacuation

If you have to evacuate the festival, please follow the instructions of our security staff and calmly make your way to the nearest emergency exit. Emergency exits are indicated by official green signs.

A Festival is a Pickpocket’s favourite playground! We advise you to keep your valuables close to your body (e.g. a wallet around your neck). What’s more, we recommend that you leave all your unnecessary cards and documents at home.
