Caribana Festival values

A memorable and multifaceted festival
Caribana is dedicated to creating lasting memories and leaving stars in the eyes of its audience. The festival goes above and beyond to curate a diverse musical lineup, delighting all generations and tastes.
International artists come from all over the world to captivate the audience, and emerging Swiss projects are not left behind. Caribana skillfully blends legendary acts with local headliners and rising talents to create a unique, enchanting, explosive, and innovative musical cocktail. Since its inception, the festival has fought to keep ticket prices as low as possible, making these electrifying shows accessible to everyone.
The concerts take place on the shores of Lake Geneva, in the charming town of Crans, offering an idyllic setting for festivalgoers, warmly welcomed by artists and volunteers. Caribana is proud to bring together festivalgoers of all ages and backgrounds.
A festival built on its volunteers
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Caribana. Organized within a non-profit association, these dedicated individuals handle essential tasks that ensure the smooth running of the festival, such as welcoming and ensuring the safety of attendees, maintaining site cleanliness, setting up and dismantling infrastructure, and many other vital missions. Each year, no fewer than 650 volunteers from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds, whether fans of rap, rock, pop, or electronic music, come together to support the festival.
To thank them for their time and dedication, Caribana offers them tickets to share with their loved ones, as well as vouchers valid at various festival food and drink stands. A special volunteers' evening, organized in their honor, allows the festival to show its gratitude by offering meals, concerts, and festivities. To ensure that volunteering is not just about hard work, shifts are arranged so that volunteers can attend the concerts they love.
Volunteers are supervised by experienced team leaders who share their knowledge, support them, and teach them the tricks of the trade. These leaders receive advanced training in various areas, such as team management and information systems.
