Security
The security team consists of around sixty volunteers who are present at all times on the festival site. They are available for any information, directions, and naturally for the safety of everyone.
To maintain a festive atmosphere at the Caribana festival, it is strictly prohibited to enter the grounds with drinks, drugs or other prohibited substances, weapons (firearms, knives, etc.), or any other item considered dangerous, cameras, and audio or video recorders. The festival reserves the right to prohibit other items or substances.
For everyone's safety, there will be systematic bag checks and random searches at the entrance to the festival.
First Aid
During the entire festival, there will be a first aid station with healthcare professionals (doctor, nurses, and paramedics) available in case of need. Several medical patrols, easily recognizable by their yellow vests, will be present at all times on the grounds.
Hearing Protection
The sound level can reach 100 decibels during concerts. Protect your ears, especially those of your children, with earplugs available at the festival ticket booths and at various locations on the grounds:
Information Stand
A team will be circulating on the grounds.
For optimal protection of your children's ears, we recommend providing them with age-appropriate hearing protection. Even brief exposure can cause irreversible damage to your children's hearing system.
Prevention of Alcohol Abuse
Raising awareness about the risks of alcohol abuse is a concern for Caribana, with training programs for bar staff and on-site teams.
Emergency Evacuation
In the event of an evacuation, please follow the instructions of our security staff and calmly head to the nearest emergency exit. The emergency exits are marked with official green signs.
Thefts/Pickpockets
A festival is a prime playground for pickpockets! We recommend keeping your valuables close to your body (e.g., wallet around your neck). Additionally, we advise leaving any unnecessary cards or documents at home.
