Yodelice

After 9 years of absence between Square Eyes and The Circle, Yodelice (aka Maxime) returns with What’s the Cure?, an album with a bold and hybrid sound. During this break, he dedicated himself to other artists (Johnny Hallyday, Jain…) and a more private life. His comeback first happened with The Circle in 2022, an introspective album, followed by remarkable concerts at Salle Pleyel.

With What’s the Cure?, Yodelice explores new sonic horizons, influenced by British new wave (Ian Curtis, Robert Smith…) and a production collaboration with Gesaffelstein. He merges rock guitars and electronic machines, balancing between synthetic coldness and organic warmth, inspired by references like Blade Runner and Pulp Fiction. A project that is both bold, profound, and unprecedented.
